amandalogp : Amanda reports parsing package

amandalogp is a package whose goal is to facilitate the interpretation of logs/reports produced by Amanda.

Current status

This package is in development. It is in active use one of our sites, and evolves as we need new features, or run to already unknown messages in the reports sent by Amanda. That explains why we don't yet provide any packaged releases. You'll have to use the CVS to get the latest available state.

Anyways, if you need a current version number, so let's pretend it's version 0.1.

If you're interested, you may subscribe to announcement of new "releases" concerning this package on Freshmeat.net.

Example

This is a screenshot taken from an example of report converted to HTML that will be sent as an attachment when a report is parsed. That corresponds to a real report, where we didn't want to have specific information on any machines, but on all machines at once : i.e. calling pipe_mail_contents.py without arguments.

Download

amandalogp is currently only available through the PicoForge project's SVN repository. More details about the project from The PicoLibre platform in the amandalogp public project.
